
Claire Honore Hollweg
Senior Economist for Türkiye, World Bank
Claire Hollweg is the World Bank’s Senior Country Economist for Türkiye, where she leads the World Bank’s engagement on macroeconomics, fiscal police and trade. Her previous roles include the Senior Country Economist for Cambodia as well as the Senior Economist in the World Bank’s Trade and Integration Unit where she worked for eight years, contributing to analytical and policy work on trade issues across the globe. Her work emphasizes the importance of enabling environments for private sector growth and integration into global value chains. Prior to joining the World Bank, she worked with the Government of South Australia and the Pacific Economic Cooperation Council in Singapore. She received her PhD and Master’s in Economics from the University of Adelaide.
