Nick Tsilas
Head of Legal and Government Affairs Southeast Europe, Microsoft.
Nick is Microsoft’s Head of Legal and Government Affairs for Southeast Europe. Nick and his team partner with policy makers and customers to facilitate the adoption of responsible AI and cloud-first policies, and support customers’ digital transformation journeys. He has been with Microsoft for over 24 years, and past roles in Seattle include Microsoft’s Lead Industry Lawyer (FSI, Telco, Manufacturing, Auto, Retail), General Manager of Microsoft’s National Technology Office, Senior Director of Global Government Affairs, and Senior Attorney on the Corporate Standards Legal Team.
Before joining Microsoft, Nick practiced law at Willkie Farr & Gallagher in Washington, D.C. and is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center. Prior to practicing law, Nick was an electrical engineer at Westinghouse Corporation. He has a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering, and a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Stevens Institute of Technology.
